LOS ANGLELES, CA, April 2, 2019: Vudu Sales, the direct sales team for Walmart’s Vudu streaming service, is proud to announce Nicholas Pavach as Senior Vice President, Brand Partnerships for Vudu.
Pavach has more than 20 years of advertising experience grounded in strategic agency, sales and technology platform responsibilities. His ability to create new revenue streams through emerging media and advertising technology has primed him for this role. “Nicholas is a thought leader and a diligent advocate for progressive marketing experiences that help brands break through the clutter. His expertise will bring a whole new level of video insight and impact to customers activating on Walmart’s Vudu platform.” said Kyle Young, Managing General Partner of Vudu Sales.
Over the course of his career, Pavach has worked with such brands as Unilever Foods, Robert Mondavi, Callaway Golf, Nike, Kia, Universal Pictures, Dell, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, Kraft, Dodge, NBC, Apple and Honda. His years in advertising paved the way for his work in the ad-tech space, building a valuable network and knowledge of the media industry’s evolution, specifically in video. After leadership positions with VidMob, Red Bull Media House and Zinio, Pavach most recently advised publishers and ad-tech companies on strategies to accelerate growth. Pavach’s specialization in video advertising, branded content and publishing innovations will inform effective advertising solutions for brands and Vudu subscribers.
With connected TV advertising expected to contribute more to overall video ad spending in the coming years, Pavach’s expertise and ability to build and leverage national brand and agency relationships across vertical categories make him an invaluable asset.
“I’m excited to join this team focused on selling Vudu TV,” said Pavach. “There’s never been a better time to be taking a closer look at the intersection of ad-supported CTV content and retail performance. As brick-and-mortar retail attribution continues to find its footing in a digital world, brands are looking for better data while customers are looking for affordable cord-cutting options and an ad experience that is unobtrusive and relevant. I think Vudu is perfectly positioned to win in this space, and our announcements planned for this year’s NewFronts May 1st. are very well timed.”
